Wet Call is a moisture sensing bed pad/alarm specifically designed for habitual bedwetters, incontinent patients, and physically and mentally handicapped individuals with bedwetting or incontinence problems. The Wet Call bed pad is placed under the user and the alarm sounds when the pad’s sensor strips detect moisture. The pad should be placed under the bed sheet, or inside a pillow case. The bedwetting alarm is connected via a 5 ft. cord to the 19” x 24” bed pad. The alarm buzzer unit can either be placed on the bed sheet, or attached to a bed rail using the Velcro strip (Velcro strip and two safety pins provided). The Wet Call alarm has a dual volume control and can be set to either high or low volume by moving the selector switch located on the back of the alarm box.
This enuresis alarm is a less expensive pad type alarm than the Malem Bed-side that still has good basic features. The Wet Call requires pressure and wetness to activate. Be sure that your child is positioned on top of the pad when wetting occurs, otherwise the alarm won't sound. If your child moves around frequently while sleeping, choose a wearable alarm that moves with them instead.
Note: This alarm unit should not be attached to the child but should be attached to the bed. Attempting to attach this alarm unit to your child can cause it to become disconnected as he/she rolls over.
Wipe dry after use.
